Christchurch Kerala Association is a non-profit organization catering to the needs of the Malayalee community living in and around the Christchurch and greater Canterbury area in New Zealand. Christchurch Kerala Association was formed in 2005 by a few far-seeing individuals who met frequently. We encourage our youth to participate actively and educate our people on matters of civic consciousness, political awareness.
Our quest is find the cultural balance of the Kiwi and the Malayalee within us and ways to foster friendship between the Malayalee community and other communities who we interact on a regular basis. We intend to foster this strength to provide the valuable support for people in Christchurch and abroad alike.
