Team Thekkans New Zealand has consistently participated in Tug of War tournaments since the sports started as a tournament in New Zealand. Our team is built on the extensive experience, unwavering dedication, and diligent efforts of its members, all supported by the affection, spirit, and encouragement of the KCANZ community.
We are proud to hold the highest number of tournament titles in New Zealand and maintain a strong presence in Oceania tournaments. Building on a successful 2024, we are committed to strengthening our presence in 2025, having already secured two championships this year.
We extend our best wishes to all teams participating in “ANKATHTTU – 2025” and hope that together, we can advance this sport with exceptional sportsmanship. Furthermore, we would like to wish the organizers a successful and memorable event.
